This Espiritu cue is from the vegas show a few days ago.

The rear is snakewood with a pretty unique inlay design and custom made dashed rings. The rectangles and oval inlays are altenating ebony and maple. Each one is also inlayed with a mother of pearl diamond.

The forearm has 6 razor sharp snakewood points (3 high, 3 low) outlined with a thin birds-eye maple veneer. The base of each point has the ebony and maple ovals inlaid with a mother of pearl diamond.

one of the points is signed Russ Espiritu 2008.
the joint is stainless steel 5/16 x14. the joint has some rings also but not the same as the rings lower in the rear.

This cue comes with 2 13mm shafts.

I think Russ is easily one of the MOST UNDERRATED CUE MAKERS! His work is always top notch and they play really really well. I have never understood why some cuemaker get most of the attention when others (Espiritu among others)make a superior cue. Russ has been at it a long time and his work is highly regarded... I just wish there was more excitement about his cues. you get a lot of cue for your money, probably more than just about anyone. His materials are always first rate and his SS joint is solid. I also like the thinner butts and his slightly forward weighted build. Nice cue
 
I agree.

I'm a big fan of his cues myself. if this cue was made by someone else it would be almost twice the price or more.

wrap

the wrap is a lizard wrap.
the last picture of the first post shows about 3 inches of the seam. I will try to get some pictures tonight of teh whole area.

Prices above are retail prices I'd entertain any reasonable offer on any of the three one of a kind cues.

Great cue....one of the nicest Espiritus that I've ever seen. Kind of reminds me of that old award winning E.Martinez 'Escher cue'.

the cue looks so much better in person than from my pictures. I'm not a photograper. I've tried different cameras and lighting. the pictures always come out the same.
