WOW!! This is great news. Now we can all relax. We won't have to think about anything new. We won't have to worry about change. We won't have to fear being asked to do any extra work.

Its a wonderful day.

I think I'll go play some billiards. BY MYSELF.

Time to get the El Jefe Beers and El Jefe cigars out and start dancing in the streetzzzzzz. Viva El Jefe- UH! DeekZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that was short lived. Dennis, if you read this, I joined the USBA because of you. I paid my dues, brother. It is your responsibility to uphold your deal. I would say stay at least a year. You're jumping ship way too soon. I surely don't have the option of getting my yearly fee back just because I don't feel like being a member again. Sorry, man, but this really chaps my ass.

From The USBA site:

5/25/10: Dennis Dieckman Resigns

Newly-elected President Dennis Dieckman has resigned as USBA President for personal reasons. In his short tenure, he established several committees and gave the Board of Directors some good ideas for developing a nationwide handicapping system for 3-cushion billiards.

The Board is currently in the process of finding his replacement. In the meantime, the Board will continue its work and will try to fulfill Mr. Dieckmans' ideas for handicaps as well as other suggestions he has made. We wish him nothing but the best in all his endeavors.

Inclined to agree.

DD is a wildman in a country club and he certainly would be alka-seltzer in the water. I imagine process might have been a killer
