That thread was pulled? Really? All the bullshit that goes on on this forum and *THAT* is a thread that gets pulled? Really?



In a month long tournament right now. So far I've won 4 matches and lost 3. I'm the returning champ so I need to step it up.

No, the one that had the "S" word in the title that offended the Quakers. I scarred a 13 year old girl for life because she saw the word "sex" on a computer screen. I hope she never turns on a television or goes outside.


Anyway, this tournament I'm in is a round robin that runs for about a month. All the regular players in the room join up and we match up when we can. The last tournament was in February I think. There were 16 members and I won the thing with 10 wins and 4 losses. I gotta kick it up a notch if I want to take it again.

i gotta admit, coming back after a little month or two break, the site has apparently gotten a little more conservatively moderated. or not? i saw that thread a second ago. maybe it dropped to page 2 for a bit. anyway good luck at the tournament.

Maybe a number of people reported the thread. That puts more pressure on the mods. Yes, there's been more troubling posts on other threads IMO (not necessarily 'titled' more troubling) that hadn't been yanked. But if they weren't reported then they probably skittered on thru safely.

Just something to consider...
 
Sigh... I don't know what went on after I stopped reading before suppertime, but I thought the discussion was all handled quite civilly, and that any of the s - e - x references were rather tame.

Oh well. Just like Charlie Brown, I never seem to know whats going on.
