If you want to express your opinion on the way WPA runs the World 9b contact this man: Gre Leenders. He is the pres. of the EPBF and a board member of the WPA. He answers emails pretty quick and seems to be a good guy. gre.leenders@planet.nl
 
I sent him an email asking for any info on the World 8 Ball they have on their calendar for next year. I'll post IF I get a response.

I'd like to congratulate them for not going with that idiotic new ball set used at the Mosconi Cup.

You raise a good point. The WPA rule book is VAGUE to say the least in regards to slow play. Its says "referee may institute a shot clock" if he feels play is too slow. So from that nebulous statement it sounds like a shot clock is up to the promoter, in this case the QBSF. After nine yrs of complaints you'd think they'd figure this out.
