The World Pool Association (WPA) is committed to providing Youth athletes with competitive opportunities that promote sporting development, education, well-being and long-term participation in pool. Following a review of international practice and discussion within the WPA Board, WPA does not support cash prize money being awarded in competitions exclusively for Youth athletes (U19). WPA therefore encourages all Continental Federations and their members to actively work to ensure that Youth athletes do not participate in Youth competitions offering cash prize money.
