I'm just copying and pasting this from my other home. :D

The changes are: (drum roll, please)

Once they're down to 16 players, it's single elimination.

There's going to be more TV coverage. The top 8 players will be on ESPN - four quarter finals, two semi-finals, and the final.

More prize money - over $105,000 with $15,000 going to the winner.

Okay, so you're asking how are they going to do the single elimination format. The 8 winners bracket players will remain in their position on the chart -- the 8 one-loss players will be randomly drawn into the 8 open positions, so it will be possible to draw into a player played before the redraw.

Of course I remember you! These changes will take place during the upcoming Florida Classic in September.

These changes were posted over at my home (Billiards Digest :D ) by Barbara who is the Director of the JPNEWT (J. Pechauer North East Womens Tour).
 
Hi guys,

These changes are only for the tournament in Florida. The tournament in Florida was an added tournament for this year so there is room to experiment. Plus it gives more players a chance to make it to the TV rounds. I think it will be very interesting.

Plagiarizing shmlagiarizing. I didn't know it was suppose to be a secret. Like I said in my first post, I've seen posts from here copied over to BD and vice versa. What's the big deal if it were linked, PMed, or whatever. Haven't seen anyone complain about it before. And...if I see something that's informational here or at BD and think that you or BD folks would be interested, you bet your bottom dollar that I'll post it. So sit back, relax, take a couple of deep breaths and realize that there is sooo much more to life than worrying about who posted what first. Sheesh.

Wendy<---Attention Ho. LOL Thanks for the early morning laugh. It's probably just some broad... :p

Wouldnt worry bout the Plagerizing....as far as the attention ho....seems that an individual that jumps boards and creates nonsense posing as, or is FL just left RSB. I would bet he is back for a period of time.

Your posts are always informative Wendy....

.Its kinda funny to see the same names that support or post on the 3 main boards (CCB/RSB/Az), but yet there are others on each board that for 'their' boards only, and post negative things about the others.

<--I will continue to post on CCB and Azbilliards and read the RSB since I only get the google engine at work.

I think those that are truly supportive are just that. Others are into it for attention. The majority are supportive, IMO. I read and post on AZ, CCB, InsidePool, and RSB. RSB has a lot of off topic and flame wars because it is unmoderated. With a proper newsreader, you can filter it and get lots of info. All of the boards have their own personalities, IMO. I like them all. I get good info from them all.
 
I barely have time to read and post on one board! I don't know how you do it Frank. Between work, pool and family, I barely have time to read and post on AZ!!

I'm retired, so I don't work. I'm old, so I get up in the middle of the night to, well, anyway I get up a lot and get on here to see what's going on while I try to get sleepy again. Kids are grown and moved, hell, I'm moving myself soon. We are going to the old folks state (FL).
