I'm sorry I didn't get to this sooner. I brought my computer but forgot my cable to hook it up.
I first have to say, what a place this is. If anyone gets a chance to come to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, it is definitely worth it. The Seminole Tribe has been absolutely great to us as well. Thanks to them.
On to the tournament now...
First match I played Susan Mello. This was an ugly match. I started out good and then went downhill from there. The score was close all the way through. At 8-8 it looked like I had an easy run-out, but I can truly say that I dogged it. I hooked myself on the 6ball with only the 8 and 9 left after that. I tried make the ball with what little bit of it I could. I almost made it but didn't. To make matters worse, I scratched. I guess it happens to us all.
Second match, I was in a situation I haven't been in for a while, going two and out. I played Bonnie Coats. She came out firing. I was down 3-0. I pulled my way to 3-3. The I was down 5-3, then 5-5, then 6-6. At 6-6 I took my break and tried to convince myself that I could win 3 more games with a little help from Melissa Herndon. I came back out and I was finally ready to play. I finished the last three racks strong and won the match 9-6.
Tomorrow at 11:45 I play Angel Paglia. I think it should be a good match...or at least I hope it is.
