SJM,

You and me always go back and forth on Oliver Ortman.:)
I noticed he is conspicuous by his absence in your final 16....

The one match of these final 32 that I really wish I could watch is the Po Chen Kuo vs Ortmann match up. I really like both these great players. Believe it or not, I'm unable to make a choice in that match.

Another of my all time favorites, Fong Pang Chao is still swinging, so, good luck to him also.

And yes, good luck to SVB!

I nearly picked Ortmann. That's a great match for sure, Terry. Like many Americans, I'm rootig for Shane. Like you, I'm a big fan of Chao and have been for a long time.

I'm sure the name Harald Stolka is not well known to many. I only know his name because he had the highest listed score in the highest level of the P.A.T. (the player ability test that has been growing as a teaching tool, epsecially in Europe), higher even than Hohmann and Souquet. Obviously, the guy has higly superior cueing skills, and, I guess, he's showing it.

Long Dong--I think he's from Texas.

Long Dong has been invented by Corey Deuel' weird mind. He was commentating Luong's first match on espn... I think

In the round of 64, the Filipinos were the ones going down like flies. For this round of 32, the Taiwanese are the ones who are going down.

Both Wus (Chia Ching and Yu Lun), Chao, Lee Kun-Fang all lost their matches. Kuo and Lu advance, and it looks like Chang will triumph over Corey.

As for the Filipinos, Gomez, Pagulayan, and Joven Bustamante advance. De Luna lost his match and Francisco is currently playing his match with Nick van de Berg. The winner of that match faces Pagulayan.

I'm still rooting for Busta, but watch out for that Gomez kid! He just rocked Chao 10-2!

Oops, spoke too soon. Corey just made a brilliant comeback to win 10-9, eliminating Chang.

Must be that darn soft break. ;)
