WPC on TV -

I watched the 2005 WPC on TV the other day, and it was an hour of pure
Billiards pleasure. The matches were very good, exciting, and the international flavor peeked my interest.

I watched Alex & Efren & Gabe get beat in the first round. (oh Gabe, how could you have played shape for that 6 ball like you did. High right going
2 rails would have been so much better and cut down on the angle for the 6 6 ball that you missed.

You know, amidst all the controversy on this guy, I still find that watching
Earl trotting style of play to be a pure pleasure to watch. I have noticed
in many TV matches, the crowds always cheer for Earl and Efren.

If you haven't watched some of the WPC matches, do yourself a favor and catch them on TV. They are great!

I completely agree. I can usually take or leave ESPN's production of pool, the WPC is something I look forward to every year. I especially love the winner breaks format, it is very satisfying to watch Earl run rack after rack.

I've got a deluxe WPC 2005 (30) DVD uncut set from the UK. It shows every rack in every set with no TV commercials. Some of the DVD's I have are in European PAL format and some in North American NTSC format.With out a question the production of the WPC are my favorite presentation of the game of nine ball by far.I prefer it to Accu-stats DVD's for sure.
