This cannot be good in my quest to stop the growth of my grey hairs.

Still down and so is the forum.

They've made a few improvements this year but the whole internet operation is still frought with bugs.

They have just totally dogged it this year.

I thought my internet access was taken out at work.

I would say the Matchroom Sport was not prepared for the kind of traffic they will be getting and hence the system folded to it's knees. :(

One problem after the other is not a good sign for them.

I know people want a fancy website but when you are dealing with people worldwide hitting it, less is better. There are way too many images on there which makes the site move slowly even through a cable modem.
My advice to them would be to strip out all the unnecessary stuff and just put out a basic, functional website. All we're really talking about is some articles, scores, and live scoring. I think it's great they have the site but I just wish they would trim it back a bit.
(Or pre-load the images ;) )

Just wanted to say this for the record: last year I complained about the WPC website on this forum. This year I feel they have a much better site that is working to my satisfaction. Whether there are things to tweak here and there or not, the great improvement should be commended. Well done.

True enough, Lewdo26. Without the WPC website and the live scoring, those of us here in the United States would be hearing about it a day later and a dollar short.

While our American players are competing in a world-renown championship, ESPN in my neck of the woods broadcasts hot dog-eating contests and the like.

Thankfully, the WPC website is the best coverage of any tournament I have ever seen, the players' profiles, news clips of matches, live scoring, up-to-the minute brackets, and forum. It's all been great! :)
