P perspicaz o-^-*-^-o Silver Member Sep 11, 2008 #2 I prefer no wrap since I don't sweat very much if at all and: no difference in feel when holding the cue outside of the wrap for those 'reaching' shots. easier to clean, virtually no maintenance. shows more wood, obtaining beautiful cues. allows for a lighter grip.

I Impact Blue AzB Silver Member Silver Member Sep 11, 2008 #3 No wrap. I feel like I can get in to stroke sooner, either from feeling the repercussion of the hit or just being able to snap the cue for shape. It's a lot more fun to throw the cue with bite. My hands don't sweat, so a wrap just takes for me.
