Wrap, or no wrap? What's your Favorite Kind Wrap?

I don't like anything soft or spongy or getting in the way of feedback, so I usually stick to Irish Linen. But I recently tried a "Stacked Leather wrap" it is awesome, just one piece of thin leather wrapped along the grip, feels like almost no wrap at all. And the dyes, embossing and things that they can do with the stacked leather are amazing! Took my Schon STL-15's into Tiger Products in Burbank and they were able to match the coloring of my cue perfectly! Looks like nothing else out there, and feels solid but less tacky then no wrap!
What do you Like?

Very nice, but I'm a sucker for well pressed and polished irish linen. Especially white with double black, or white with green.

love the classic look of an Irish linen, there are some fancy wraps that look great but not sure about how they play. Thought I wouldn't like a wrap less, but after buying my ob121 SP, I think I prefer playing without a wrap.

I'm a linen guy, preferably with a white base color and black, brown, or green spec.

I can do wrapless too, but didn't love leather even though it can look very nice.

Wrap

I love the way white with brown spec irish linen looks but it doesn't stay clean long..... Oh and bacon. I am a sucker for anything wrapped in bacon.

I'm a wrap less man, but am OK with some leathers, over the years I've went away from linen, but like the look.

Wow a lot of linen wrap users here.

Myself personally, I prefer sport wraps, all of my cues have them except for my jump cue.

Wrapless was always my favorite, but my current cue has a really well done textured leather wrap and it's great. Linen always felt too slippery for me, and it's unfortunately my favorite look out of all of them.

Linen

Some of these cuemakers do great work with other materials.

Ned Morris from Desert Hot Springs, Ca did linen wraps on three of my cues smooth as can be.

I have tried them all but stacked and Cork. I love the look of well pressed old school white w/green, brown spec or sleek solid black linen.

I love figured wood. Lots of wood showing, and lately the feel of a hand rubbed Watco satin finish. No wrap.

Had a Lucasi Hybrid on trade a few years ago with their rubber 'sport' grip . Pretty unique and tacky. Kind of reminded me of golf. Which I love, and draw many similarities to pool. But I did not care for the look or putting it away in my case.

I do like Leather. I like the Look of a well done real Bull hide Leather wrap on the right cue. Feels killer.

I have played with a stacked wrap and it was slick and looked classy. I will have a stacked wrap one day for sure. Doubt I will go for the 'treatment' like the OP's.

I have never played with 'Cork' yet. It was a trend sometime ago but I never tried, had one installed or played with a cue with a cork wrap. Looked kind of nice on certain cues I have seen. But you do not see cork anymore. A trend ?

I really have no preference as far as play if the cue feels good. I would say I like them all.

Good Night,

Wrapless all the way, just sold a Schon with Irish linen just couldn.t get use to it.
I would think that just about everyone started out with a wrapless house cue.
