Wrap or No Wrap

I have been known to prefer wrapless cues for a long time now, but now I'd like to try another wrapped cue...leather wrapped, but smooth leather, not this textured stuff. I've even been debating with myself on having my cocobolo cue redone with leather I just hate to have the pretty cocobolo handle go to waste like that, its my favorite part of that cue! I think it might look better with a black leather wrap though, instead of the cocobolo wood with ivory inlays...it would just be a waste of the work put into the cue in the first place...so maybe I should have one similar made with leather, but without all the inlays. I'm fighting with myself on this issue. on one hand I'd love to give it one more shot, and on the other I think it might be a "phase" I'm going through. lol, I've got myself all confused over nothing really...ideas?

How much are you selling it for.

i build only no wrap cues. my 2 cents, all a wrap is good for is to hide a ugly piece of wood

I like the feel of a no wrap cue. You get a better feel of the hit, resonance of the cue. Plus I do like beautiful woods. I generally don't have sweaty hands and if the wooe wrap section get a little sticky I just wipe it down.

A friend of mine took the wrap off of his cue and plays with the bare wood.
What a great hit.
I think that a wrapped cue wether linen, leather, snakeskin etc. deadens the hit of the cue.
