I'm about to buy a new cue, my first with a wrap. I recently bought a 52" Action cue for the occasional "short wall" shot and I liked the feel of the wrap on that cue. Then my wife got a new McDermott (the GS12); the wrap on her cue is slippery, like it's been "Armor-All"ed. (There are some suggestions about slippery wraps that I've found here, probably the best is play with it and it'll get better.)
My question: I'm looking at a low-end Joss (perhaps the JOS02). Would you expect the wrap to be slippery, like the McDermott, or rough, like the ($30) Action?
(I know I should find a store and go try them out, but there's not much around here, and the fact is it isn't going to happen before I take a chance and buy one online.)
Thanks for your thoughts.
