I guess that way is has effectively cornered the market on matching joint protectors! I only know of one other cuemaker who has a tap for his thread size, and he made it out of an older Blud screw from a broken cue, but it works great. Steel is harder than wood.

Pin Lesson

Thanks for the info on the Blud pin size. Now that I have examined more closely I see what you say. Cue plays great, don't know if that pin type is a contibuting factor. Buyer will be very pleased.
