Anyone have a Set of nice/different Joint Protectors for a 3/8 x 10 pin that you'd let go for $2.00? Well, OK, I guess the price could be negotiated up a little....

The joint is ivory with a BEM forearm, Amboyna Burl points with Green/Blue/Black veneers. Sweet lookin RJH cue that desperately needs
JPs.

Almost anything other than Ebony would work. Since the butt, joint and ferrules are all ivory, it would make the best protectors but can't afford a new custom set.

I don't recommend that guy. I got a set from him and the fake MOP popped out within two days. They don't fit any of my cues right, the pilot was too large, and I was not at all pleased with them. I now go to Chad McLennan...much better quality at a similar price.

Thanks Shorty & Jim for your replies. I just emailed "that guy" RE a set of fake Ivory JPs he has listed. I almost used Buy It Now and decided to email him first. Now I'm glad I did!

i'll go see what Chad has....

I really like the ones for your Espiritu cue. Turns out he had some already made that were perfect - cocobola and ivory.

Well, since I started this thread way back when, here's my update:

Ordered a Set of Custom JPs from Chad and received them a few days later. FANTASTIC VALUE! Great quality JPs at a price that can't be beat, and fast shipping to boot. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
 
Joint Protector Update

Just received my JP's from Chad, so now I have sets from both Chad and Tony. Both are cocobola 5/16x14, but I needed a "redder" wood, 3-piece, and liked Chad's ivory inlays. Both are very nice and priced right, but Tony's are slightly better quality. I don't think Tony does fancy stuff so I will still go to Chad for that. Both were friendly and fast.
