WTB a 13x40 inch metal lathe - used

I am still looking, but a buddy of mine just told me at pool the other nite about his buddy is empting out a machine shop at a school, and was told to dispose of the lathes, etc. So he's going to let me know when they arrive at his shop, and I get my pick of the litter, if they fit my needs. The price is unbeatable...free:D
Thanks for all the input guys, if the free deal falls thru, I'll be buying around the first of the year, or sooner.

Gee, if you weren't so far away I'd offer to help your buddys buddy with that job of disposing stuff. Good luck with this opportunity, it sounds great.

Well, I hope it goes well, I'm also hoping that a mill or 2 shows up in the bunch also:)
 
i have a griz 9249 for about 3 years now. i have had no problems with it. griz puts it on sale all the time for 2000 shipping included.
