I am finally ready to buy me a new player... I am looking for something from either Richard Harris, Hill, or Sugartree. Points are a plus. I'm really not looking for one with a lot of inlays . I really like beautiful woods put together well. 2 shafts with hopefully micarta ferrules around 13mm

Anyone have an opinion on which of these cues they like?? I know they all will play great and will hold their value pretty well. A fellow AZ'er has(or had) and nice bocote Harris . I just wish it had points...

A little banged up is also ok if not too bad. I figure 6 months in the pool hall with me will get it banged up anyway. I just always seem to ding my cues no matter how careful I am.

thanks

I have a gorgeous Darren Hill full splice, two veneers (natural and green), wood to wood joint with phenolic collar, cocobolo rings at A/B/D/E, figured bubinga body and points and some real nice birdseye for the forearm and butt sleeve. Plays remarkably strong, and it has old-school yellow macarta ferrules, each of which cost about $100. It has been played very, very little, and you can save a small fortune on it. Weighs 19 and 19.2 ounces, depending on shaft. Both shafts are about 12.8-12.9mm.

SOLD!! Tanks!
