Curiouse of Josey vs frey

What do you guys think of these makers sneakys in terms of collectability. I mean if i buy one of either of these 2 makers today, which one is more likely to go up in value? Like scrugs has..just curiouse. TIA

I'd go for a Carolina Custom SP. They are about $275 on their website and I've seen a number on sale here for the $200-250 range lately.

Whatever you decide on, just make sure you can hit with one before you purchase. I was all about the Frey hype so I ordered one and it was just not the cue for me. Nothing against Bob, just to each their own, though I did have some issues with the construction of it. I ended up getting one of the Sneakiest Petes on ebay with a z2 shaft and bloodwood butt for around 250 and its a rock solid cue.

Hmmmm...

Since you started the thread off by saying "my beloved Josey" I'd say you were pretty happy with it so I wouldn't recommend gettin' anything but another one. Keith makes a great cue for both playability and beauty, but you allready know this so call him up now and tell him your situation. I bet he'll work with you and have you back with another beloved very soon.

Tap, tap, tap!!! Call Keith...he may have something already completed and ready to go. Even if you can only afford his least expensive SP, at least you will be playing with a cue who's play is familiar to you already. Then you can talk to him about him making another, perhaps fancier one for you.

IMHO...I think this may be the way to go. Whatever you decide to do...don't leave your cues in your car anymore, for reasons beyond theft.

Thanks for all of your input guys! i have gone with a Sneakiest Pete for now from poolfool and am going to save up for a Josey over the next few months. Hopefully this thread will help others looking for the best bang for their buck also!
