WTB; broken cues

I'm looking for broken cues to use as salvage parts for repairing customers' cues. I prefer Meucci and older McDermotts but will consider anything. Pictures are a plus. thanks.

So you are telling this forum the Mueller uses "broken cues" as their parts source to fix customers cues who are sent in?

I would only use origianl parts. If a customer has a Meucci with a broken forearm and I can use the same forearm from a cue with a broken handle, then yes.

Trust me, all of my repairs are top notch and I am a professional. This is what I do and all I do. My reputation is everything to me.

I don't see a problem with salvaging good parts from a broken cue. I imagine it is the only way some things can be obtained.

I would maybe reword your post...and put it in the cuemakers section. No one has more broke/junk cues laying around than most cuemakers.;)

I bet there are a LOT of those.....:D :D :D

I've seen a few seconds floating around. The thing I don't understand is why put out a second? I would never put out a second rate cue. If it isn't good enough to sell then destroy it.

Ok...a joke....
Do you know the only way to tell the difference between a premium Meucci & a "seconds" Meucci? One has a stamp on the forearm...the other needs one.:D :D :D

That's funny. LMAO!

I'm still laughing 15 min later, I have a brand new meucci here, I'm trying to figure out how many time's they had to cut the inlays out of the points, and reglue new peices in. The cue was dirty when I got it. I sell many cues over a years time and this is the worst cue, custom, or production I've ever seen, and I've seen some junk.

Thanks for the laugh Kevin,
