What part of Kentucky are you in? I may be able to help you if you are near Cincy. If you use a billiard cloth, I'd recommend something Teflon coated. Drinks tend to be more accepted at a poker table than at a pool table, so spills are more likely. Will also help with the dyes coming off on your hands (we had that problem with Mali non-Teflon)
Price is another question of mine. Cards just slide ok on Mali and other non-worsted billiard cloths, but if you're going to spend the money for something that the cards will slide good on, I'd skip billiard cloth and order the suited poker cloth for the same money if not less. That stuff is the nuts! Cards slide good, it looks great and it lasts a pretty good time.
