I have a plain ebony cog that plays great. I'm looking for either 1 or 2 more shafts to add to this cue. Shafts need to be straight and preferably over 3.6 oz. Thanks

P.S. No taper rolls pls...

I know a guy who has an extra Cog. shaft down here...

It's just under 13mm, straight enough for what you do.

It is one of Joey's older shafts from when he first started making cues and actually put some heart into his work.

Call me if you're interested.

PM your number with what you are willing to pay. I have a friend with 3extras. If he is interested he may call you.

Pool Loft Dave,
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I picked up my Cog in November and ended up standing around for 5 hours while he was working so we could talk. He's a very passionate cuemaker. He told me alot of the things he does to make his cues play the top caliber they are. I've played with a couple of older Cogs and my new cue plays exactly the same as the older ones. When he told me the long hours he puts in and how perfect everything has to be, I fail to understand your comment. Can you elaborate for me?

ATM82,
You can buy new perfectly straight shafts and in the weight desired. If you call him up, he would be more than willing to help you get the shafts you need.

Side note: Since having my new Cog, I've been back to his shop for a reshaping of my tip and he was happy to do it. In fact, I told him that I was interested in getting another Cog. He showed me all the woods that were available and told me everything I ever needed to know about woods.
