WTB G Szamboti, Ginacues At DCC

DogsPlayingPool,

I have been posting for a month that I am going to be at the DCC and I am looking for fancy Ginacues and Gus Szambotis. His post went up, and he sold both cues right away, about 2 minutes before I got on and saw his post.

Doggone it!

Dear Will,
I am selling a friend's Gus Szamboti for him. He is the original purchaser of the cue. It is a rather plain model with four ebony points, natural, green and black veneers. The buttsleeve is plain ebony. Two years after purchase, the cue was returned to Gus for a refinish and rewrap. Gus Szamboti is the only person who has ever worked on this cue. Two shafts came with the cue, and at the time of the refinish, Gus made three more matching shafts. Yes, the total is five (5) matching shafts. I am currently photographing this cue and a few others he wants to put on eBay. He also has two other original Gus shafts, but they have a stich ring on the joint collar, while the others have a solid ring. If you would be interested in photos of this cue before it goes on eBay, please e-mail me at: VBShadow@msn.com. I realize that you are problably at DCC, so I won't put the cue up on eBay until after the tournament is over. Hope this isn't too much of a bother for you, thanks for your time.

Yours,
Larry Colby

Skip also has a monster Gina. If you meet him maybe you should mention it. The cue has so many Ivory Points I didn't even try to count them. Ernie was clueless to it's value!
Good Luck to all,
Nick :)

Interested!
