WTB: great player w/leather wrap under $600

I know there have been a couple posts similar to this in the last few days, but I can't read those guys' PMs, so here we go:

I recently decided to make the switch from my production cue (Predator 3k6 with a Z2 shaft and a Z shaft) to a custom, and I ordered my new cue from Doug Patrick this weekend. I think the long wait is gonna kill me, though, so I'd like to buy something a little lower end to play with until it comes. I'm looking for a great hitting custom cue with a leather wrap that will hold its value well, and it will hopefully be my everyday player for the next several months. Other than that, I'm open to whatever you all have available. I'd like to keep it under $600, but may be able to stretch that a little for a really amazing deal.

Things I like: (not necessary, but good starting points)
cues that showcase the natural beauty of the wood
wraps with great attention to detail
dark and/or highly figured woods
woods that naturally have some color (like purple heart or bloodwood)
plainjanes/merry widows
even points (not a big fan of high/low or overlapping points)
bold veneer colors (like red, white, or black)
softer tips
cues that are newer or have been well-taken care of (I'm pretty meticulous about mine)
a cue with good feedback on the hit

And if anyone has something with nicely done flame veneers on an ebony forearm in this kind of price range that hits well, you'll really have my attention.

Finally, I've lurked on AZB for a long time, but never had a reason to register and post until now, but you can check out my ebay profile (novamatt325) -- I've got 83 feedbacks at 100% positive. Feel free to pm, link, or post cues for sale here. I'm looking to make a deal in the next couple of days. Thanks!

That cue looks awesome, but I've gotten a couple of truly unbelievable offers just a little more than that on cues I never thought I could afford. I think if I decide to go to the top of my price range, I'll want to stretch a little for one of those really killer deals. The Carolinas are nice cues, though, and that's a gorgeous piece of wood, so I'm sure it'll go quickly!

All PMs have been replied to and I plan to make a decision and buy a cue tomorrow. If anyone else has something they think I'll like, I'd really love to see it, so send the information on over. And thank you to everyone who's already replied -- you guys have got some awesome cues for sale!

One last bump before I pick one of the great cues you all have shown me. I'm going to sleep on it and make a decision tomorrow morning.

If anyone has a flame veneer cue with ebony points, a leather wrap, and a nice stiff hit in my price range, I would be VERY interested in seeing it before I wrap this up.

Thanks again!

Thank you

Thanks, everybody, for all the great cues sent my way. So many of you hadsuch great things to offer that I had a really hard time deciding.

I got a great deal on a gorgeous BCM today that should be here in the next week or two, and I think I'll be very happy with it.

And gwjackal, yes, Bob did offer that unbelievable Capone, and his price for it is a ridiculous steal for that cue, but I just couldn't quite afford it.

Thanks for all everybody's help!
