I am looking for a good deal on a j/b cue in good shape. I prefer 19 or heavier other than that any thing under $200 would be considered. Thanks

J&J j/b cue

Marcus is right. I use a JJ j/b cue. They are kinda cheap but for the money they jump as well as any i've used. They break nice also, but it sounds like you've shattered the cue when you break with it.

I have a Guylassy Sledgehammer, excellent condition, 19.5 oz, solid black butt, no wrap....$200 delivered.
 
I think bassmaster is selling a J&J J/B here at the moment so he probably does not want another one.
Mike might be doing a raffle for the Katrina Victim shorty here in the forum, and I have donated a brand new X breaker for the raffle. It is a $350 cue and you can choose your weight and color when you win the raffle. You never know, you may win for only $10! There will be also be cues from other companies such as Predator, Platinum Billiards...etc.
On a side note, the sledgehammer for $200 sounds like a great deal for you if you want to buy a good j/b cue outright. :D

Fury J/B is less than $200 brand new. It's got a leather wrap, quick release joints, pro taper, and phenolic tip/ferrule combination.

Im thinking about getting a break cue but dont jump often. Do the jump/break cues give a solid hit for breaking having two joints. Does a break cue with the single joint have a firmer hit?

I just got a Fury yesterday and it has really surprised me. Most jump breaks that break well dont jump well. This one performs great either way.
