WTB - J&J Phenolic tip break/jump cue

I want to be carefull about not dissing Doozzie, but be a little careful - I recently bought a J&J 4010 from a place on eBay and the tip was not phenolic - some kind of hard leather - I checked the J&J website and in the small print it says "most come with phenolic tips"

The guy I bought from didn't even check - but I'm sure Doozzie will if you go with him.

Because you didn't bother to READ. It clearly states the 4410 and 4414 comes with a water buffalo tip. So if you purchased a 4410, and expected a phenolic tip.... ahem.. you get the drift.

The rest comes with phenolic. That said, J&J has 2 types phenolic tips. The kind with the white ferrule, or the new kind with the black ferrule. It's all clearly stated in their website. So you need to decide which kind you want touchdowntodd.

thanks guys for all the info!

i just came up from my basement, and i just cant look at my super old (read 30 yrs atleast) set of beat up balls anymore on my new felt and nice table... i need a set of new ones, so this will be my priority... money is super tight now a days, so i will have to hold off on this for a few weeks or so..

hopefully you guys are still out here when the time comes!
