Good luck with info on this guy! There are a couple of members here who have the actual contact info for this cuemaker and they covet this info like the Holy Grail. I believe they are trying to limit who can buy directly from this guy so they can keep the resale price up on his cues, which still is very reasonable for the quality of the cue. It's a shame because the people I know who wanted one of his cues, I have steered in a different direction due to no accessibility to the maker if they had a problem with their cue. I have owned a few and was put on a wild goose chase with ebay usernames and email addresses that did not work. I sold the ones I had and will not buy anymore from a cuemaker who I cannot contact directly if I wish to. Good luck with your search.

Looks like he's a pretty easy guy to find and contact for cues to me.

I stand corrected then. My attempts at trying to reach him were about 5-6 months ago, including a search and pm's on this forum and I could not get anything other than a bogus ebay username and another AZ'er telling me that Joel has to approve of anyone getting his contact info, therefor he could not share it with me. So this must have changed.
 
I have a nice cue by Joel that I bought a few years ago and have never played with it. PM me if you would like to see pictures.

Ebay name I said was silvertone and it is silverztone sorry .
 
I have given the info to anyone has asked for it, I consider Joel a friend of mine and want to see him do well and provide for his wonderful family. I hope those contacting him asking for custom work make sure to pay him well for it because it is truly great stuff for the money. $500 for a custom made cue that would cost you 3-5 times that here is just awesome.
 
That guy is hard too get with .. I sent a email and NEVER heard back from him . Good luck to ya..
