Perhaps he responded with good intentions, and after posting, realized you were in the EU. Since AZB does not allow for deleting posts, rather than editing and leaving a mysterious trail of ........'s, he gave an explanation as to why that cue was no longer an option.

You must understand that with shipping costs from North America (where most of the forum denizens live) to the EU being what they are, pickings are going to be pretty slim at your price point. However, I think there is a gentleman from Portugal who is selling a quite rare Budweiser cue. Maybe you two can come to an agreement. I hear they make excellent break cues.
