Hi all, looking to buy a 1x2 or 2x4 leather case with the Southwest Cues logo. I'm fully aware that I could order one from JUSTIS or Murnak direct but I would like to see what's out here first. You can either PM me or post here of what you have and price, case must be in good condition. BTW I would consider other brand cases as long it is leather.

Thanks in advance...

Hey Gary,
I hate to say this but you probably need to go thru Roy Mallott at Indyq.com
If you have the asking price he's asking for it, you will have no problems, otherwise you wish you never mett such a salesman.
The other option is try to contact Whitten and Jack Justis or even others likes JB Cases, Murnak and Dennis Swift. They are way nicer to deal with and they could help you build the case of your dreams.

I would think the first person to call is Laurie Franklin and ask her who if anyone she approves of to use her logo.

I have heard that there are a few of these South West cases out there that were made with out approval. South West is one the pillars in the cue industry and they deserve the right to say who can and cant use their logo for profit IMO.

I agree. I won't do a cue case with any cuemaker's logo on it without their permission. Except if they aren't around to ask anyore and it's a VERY SPECIAL ocassion. EMPHASIZE VERY SPECIAL.

Especially SouthWest. I understand that Laurie is not happy about the cases that were made with their logo.

The reason for this is that it's very easy for a consumer to think that a case with a SouthWest logo was made by SouthWest. Since SouthWest is a known billiard brand this is a natural assumption.

If you get Laurie's permission then I am sure that any number of case makers, myself included would be honored to put that logo on our work.

SouthWest Logo is a Registered Trade Mark,

to John.

Suggestion would b for the guy who wants a SW Logo, Write Laruie, and get a letter sawing USE of LOGO is OK, and you are good to go.

Otherwise forget it.
