That's not an omen. It even says so on the listing. He bought a predator blank and took it to pete omen to finish the joint. It's not an omen.

I don't know what an Omen looks like, but the Ebay listing is written incorrectly if it's not an Omen, and in that case doesn't even list the maker.

thanks..

yoz, thanks for all the help ppl, appreciate it..ive replied to all the pm..:D

READ IT AGAIN! No where does it says that it is an OMEN, it says he fitted a Predator partial.

"You are looking at a custom made cue with a Predator 314 shaft. The cue maker used to work for Schon cues a few years ago, and now he is on his own up in Wisconsin spitting out a few cues per year for players and friends. I bought the Predator blank and had a local cue maker here in the Melbourne area fit it to the cue (PETE OMEN). The original shaft has a small crack in the ferrule but I play with it all the time and I can't tell unless you are looking at it up close and it also has a slight very slight woble, but it is at the joint I think because the tip stays down, the it rolls arrow straight with the Predator, . The pictures really don't do this cue justice. I am selling the cue because I just don't have time to play anymore, and my toddler is the number #1 thing right now. So, please have a look and email me if you have any questions. The cue as being sold as is. I got the best pics of it I can, and I am trying to keep 100% positive feedback. I feel confident that you won't be dissapointed in this cue."

Reading it once was enough!

This is the listing verbatim. The way it is written, the parenthetical "PETE OMEN" refers to the cue, NOT the "local cue maker". Since I didn't know Pete Omen was not from Wisconsin, and that he is local to Melbourne, I had to assume that the seller could properly communicate in written English.

It's also funny that the seller doesn't list the name of the maker.

I just listed the specs and photos of my Olney in my FS thread. The Olney is $500 shipped. Great cue- 4pts with inlay.

I can just hope that you didn't actually graduate!

BECAUSE YOU ARE ATE UP WITH THE DUMB ASS!!!
IT SAYS IT WAS A LOCAL CUE MAKER IN WISCONSIN, AND THAT I HAD PETE FIT A BLANK TO IT. IT SAYS THAT THE LOCAL MAKER IN WISCONSIN IS ONLY MAKING A FEW PER YEAR, PETE LIVES IN FL AND MAKES MANY CUES. IF YOU CONTINUE TO READ I WAS ASKED BY A PERSPECTIVE BUYER WHO MADE THE CUE AND I POSTED THE NAME IN THE REPLY ON THE AUCTION SITE. IT IS BEST NOT TO MAKE STATEMENTS ABOUT THINGS IN WHICH YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY IGNORANT ON.

Hahahaha, I just realized you're the guy who posted that cue auction. Please learn how to write in English. I didn't read the Q&A, just the listing, and I am going to tell you again, the way you listed it, makes it appear that you are selling an Omen cue, because you put the parenthetical "(PETE OMEN), in the wrong F-ing place in the sentence. The fact that someone else even had to ask you if the cue you listed was an Omen, only solidifies my point that your listing is ambiguous at best!

P.S. When you type in all caps, it makes me feel really really really bad.

...and, sorry to drag all this drama into your thread, torqiet, I was just trying to help you. I hope you find what you're looking for.:)

HE ASKED WHO, NOT IF IT WAS AN OMEN OR NOT, BUT WHO MADE IT. SLOW DOWN AND READ CAREFULLY, DON'T LET YOUR EYES JUMP AHEAD OF YOUR ABILITY TO CONCEIVE WHAT YOU ARE READING. You are the only person who doesn't get it. GET IT!
