WTB Predator Z2 blank

I have a customer which would not change to any thing else than his current Pred Z2.
Since I'm not one of the chosen one to deal this brand and the one which is - is not carrying something
like a blank - could some of my friends up here help me out with 2 blanks ?

I'm building a cue and I need these shafts to make the combo for the owner.

PM me if preferred if you are afraid the "Predator Police" should see you up here.

I see you are an OB dealer, get him to try an OB2 or an OB Classic Pro.

I have people all the time that come in and want a Predator at which point I tell them my Predator story. Several years ago I was Predator dealer and sold guite a few shafts. Predator thought they would get smart and take their manufacturing to China. They called my supplier of maple shaft wood up in Michigan and ordered a cargo container of maple at a cost of $110,000. He furnished the order and sent it to China. Before it got there they called up and wanted another container full. So he purchased the wood and made another container. Before he shipped it Predator called back and said the container had arrived and they had gone through it and culled a certain percentage and wanted him to deduct that percentage from the cost of the next shipment. Of course my supplier said no because they were purchasing bulk wood and not graded wood. Any way Predator told him to keep the second container and canx the order. Put him in a bind for several months. I am happy he did not quit selling shaft blanks.

After several months a Predator rep calls me, not my rep that I had been dealing with for years as they had been fired, and asked if I would like to purchase some more blanks. I explained that I had heard they were now make in China and they replied that yes they were but to their specs. I then asked what was my price and they replied it was the same. At that point I said how about selling them to me at a better price since now they get 5 shafts or more made for the old price of one shaft made in the USA so pass along the savings to me. Needless to say they would not deal. I told them that I did not sell Chinese shafts and had switched to OB Cues as my choice of low deflection shafts and they could take me off their list.

I have "DEMO" OB shafts and I let them shoot with them and try them out. Most buy the OB shaft, who wants a Chinese shaft on their cue. As I said it would be alright if they sold for $50.00 retail.

I have been working with Royce for many years and the customer have tried it all. He knows some of the story you mentioned and I'm aware of it as well, but there is no point in me making a cue with a OB, Tiger or even a Mezz shaft when he is stubborn enough to keep ordering new Preds from the US.

So to make him happy I just have to do what the customer wants.

Thanks for your input though. I played with a 314 when they where made in your nation, but changed to OB1 when the ferrule issues came on the 314'2. Royce helped me out that time and so goes the story-I introduced OB to my country/marked and the rest is story.
