hello all,

thanks

Have you

asked Bob to make some for you that match your cue. You know cue makers do that. What type of joint and pin?

i was thinking that but i do not want to spend a lot of money, so i figured i may get a good deal on a nice looking set. i will inquire with him just in case. thanks though

You can also search JPs on Ebay. I bought a nice 3 piece set for $15 or $20 I think. There should be some vendors who offer various woods, i.e. coco, purpleheart, ebony, etc.

I have a set of 1 butt 1 shaft solide Ivory JP's that arent being used. They were made to fir the 5/16 x 14 thread (believe thats it). Anyways, they were made to fit one of my Meucci Originals in my collection. Have sense then had all my JP's made of pool balls themselves from a good friend of mine. I dont know Bob Frey's cues that well, so dont know if his thread is the same as my meucci. But i was just putting it out there for u....=-)

You need to provide thread size .. 3/8 x 10, radial or 5/16 x 14 or ???

There's a guy from Broken Arrow, OK (Crown Custom Cues I believe) that makes pretty nice jp's for cheap.

Here he is:

Usually a decent selection on ebay at reasonable prices. All kinds from fancy to plain. The prettiest wood JP's quickly get the finish dinged up when/if dropped or roll off the table. I like the simple black or white delrin JP's on ebay for $10, very well made, durable & attractive. They are made by a Mr. Picone in FL.

I think Bob Frey normally uses 5/16 X 14 joint screws. Good Luck with your new Frey. Sneaky Pete or points? Pics?

My thanks to dennis for making these for my cue. They match up perfect and he didn't even need the cue to make them. If you'd like feel free to click on cue link in sig. :D

oh yeah, my pin is 3/8 10 pin, thanks all

if you want white, try ebay. the ones I'm recommending are made by a cuemaker named Joe Picone and his screenname is "ITSAHDEAL". I have black ones for my playing cue. he'll even number them if you want
