WTB: Schon R5

I saw one on E-bay in the completed items once. I loved the way the red one looked but would take the ebony one also.

I don't know? I am about as big a Schon fan as there is and I've never seen one (any model) with red points.

4 Ebony points into a maple forearm and maple windows in the buttsleeve.

That the R models were the ones that Runde made when he worked for
Schon? Platinum billiards has quite a few Schons.

If it didn't have ebony points I don't think it would be a R5. I don't think there were any options on the points.

I have a R2 that has German silver rings at 3 positions so there may have been some other options.

Maybe it was just bad lighting that made the points look red.

I don't have a blue book of cues, but from what I remeber other options were listed in it.

Guess I will see if I can find a phone number to Schon...... Sounds like I have been wasting my time searching for one of these!

I called Schon & they did make one. Sounds like the one I'm looking for is made from Madagascar Rosewood.
