I am trying to find a schon runde era r-16
(not looking for any other schon cues)
I don't know how hard it is to find one.

Shafts are not needed but I could purchase with the cue also.

If its
Straight
19-19.4 oz with shaft

I am very interested

Please let me know!
Thanks

-Thomas

Sharp

Yes They Should Have Sharp Points.that Cue On Ebay Has Nothing To Do With Bob Runde. And If They Were Sharp That Price Would Be A Steal.thanks Greg

Thomas,

I've got an older Schon, verified by Evan Clarke as an SR-16. It does not have sharp points. Has cocobola points with with black veneers, ivory diamonds in the points. Butt has cocobola, with 4 maple windows, four ebony rectangles with 3 ivory diamonds in each rectangle. Butt cap is ivory colored but don't think it is ivory. It is 57", and weighs about 18.4 oz. with original Schon shaft, and same with Predator 314 I have for it.
If interested, let me know and we can talk.

Steve

For the money

You need to look at Bushwacker's Bob Runde 99 cue for sale on this board. Why buy high used when you can buy low new!

I'm only looking for a specific cue, thanks for the offer! :)

thanks greg and nick for info.

Does anyone have a rough estimate of how much the cue would cost
R-16 with sharp points and inlays .. stitch and non stitch rings

Thanks

For a collector, the primo one to have would be sharp points and inlays and stitch rings. In excellent refinished condition, I'm thinking in the $1600 to $1700 range at least, cash price. Fact is I've seen very few for sale. All of the Schons with stitch rings were produced at far fewer numbers than the later silver ring versions. The silver ring version probably $400 - $500 less.

I would PM Hersheybarbilli and ask him.

I agree with TATE's post regarding pricing of an R-16 with stitch rings.

I have a stitch ring combo R-12/R-15. It's the R-12 forearm and the R-15 ivory bars near the butt cap with blue veneers. I've had the cue 20 plus years and have not seen another one like it. Evan Clarke appraised it at $1,500.00 but I think it's worth a little more than that given the rare combination of two R series cues.

Sorry guys, mine's not for sale! ;-) Good luck with the R-16 search!

Schon R-16

Hersheybarbilli is an outstanding and honest person to deal with.
You will not have any problems buying a cue from him!

Thanks for all the help!

I'd really prefer a stitch ring r-16 but if worst comes to worst I'll have to get a silver ring version.

I hope I could find one that I will really like

R- 16

Hey guys. As usual Tate nailed it perfectly.

A real good R-16 with sharp cut inlays and points and stitched rings is a hard thing to find and would comand a good price, above $1500.00 for sure. The problem would be finding one for sale.
