WTB Scruggs Bushka Tribute Cue

I held a Bushka Tribute in my hands in 20001 when I was in Las Vegas and didn't get a chance to try it. The cue was magnificent looking and the balance seemed ideal. I probably would settle for another esteemed cue maker's Bushka Tribute. But the few I've seen tended to be slightly heavier than the Scruggs vesrion but of course, any new cue can be made to a buyer's specs.

The closest cue that I passed on, and have regrets about, was the James White Bushka Tribute I mentioned. The Richard Black one I didn't purchase was a little heavier than the James White cue but I am open to Bushka Tribute cues by any of the cue makers I mentioned. Finding a Tim Scruggs version has become an exercise in sheer frustration and I think their value will hold up better over the next twenty years because he apparently didn't make that many.

But at this point, I'm willing to buy another Joss West but this time I think I'd look for a radial pin, ivory joint cue instead of another s/s joint. But
any of the cue makers I mentioned in my post that has a sharp looking Bushka Or Szambo design, I'd consider them. Bill Stoud is probably my favorite cue maker and his early work is the best as far as I'm concerned. Currently discussing a Joss West cue right now with a seller but if that Bushka comes along, I'm down for it.

I don't know what it is about a Tim Scruggs tribute as there are makers who make a cue closer to George's work than Tim. Not that Tim could not have made them exactly like one, but Tim used his own style even in his tribute cues, so they are not exactly like a Bushka cue. I have owned a few of them.
I guess our definition of a tribute cue is much different. But to me a tribute cue is made to very close specifications of what (in this case) George made. I see cues that are "called" Bushka tribute cues and really don't even look like a true Bushka cue.
This cue comes closer than ANY Tim Scruggs tribute I have had or seen.

IT Only Takes time If You Bother To Read The Posting

Okay....I going to relent and curtail my postings for a friggin Scruggs Bushka Tribute cue on Monday 8/8 which is a month earlier than the deadline I assigned of 9/11. So thankfully for there's just a few days left but meanwhile, why don't you just quit reading any more postings about finding a Bushka Tribute cue....it might help your computer speed. Thanks to everyone that tried to help.

James White Bushka Tribute Cue on Cornerstone Cues

I already know about this cue.....the James White Bushka Tribute cue that was sold on AZ two weeks ago is now lisited on Cornerstone Cues. It's the same cue that originally had the black speck linen wrap which was recently changed....the green in the butt sleeve is unmistakable. The price is within my budget for a Scruggs Bushka Tribute cue and this was the cue I had some regrets about not buying.....a beauty of a cue......but those in the know on AZ probably understand cue dealings a lot better than me.

Just curious how a cue that originally was selling for $2800 on AZ and was successfully sold shows up 10 days later on a dealer site selling for $55 more than originally requested? Cue must have sold for less than its original asking price or else the new seller wants to raise some cash for some other needs is all that I could figure out. Just seems odd that the cue was bought and then relisted for sale so quickly.

Let me ask the forum readers.....and I know that I should just be pleased that the cue is available again.....do cues commonly got relisted for sale so quickly? Kinda makes me wonder whether the buyer was disappointed with the cue but Bill at Cornerstone only deals with the best stuff so that doesn't seem likely.....the quick relisting seems curious to me and I'll see what happens by the end of my countdown period that has only 3 days left.

Okay forum readers ....that should please so many of you.....my Bushka postings will be curtaining but in the interim, I need to reconcile this relisting which happened so quickly.....And please don't lecture me about either buy it or shut up....the circumstances seem curious and that's all I'm pointing out.
