Hello..Im looking to pay $500 to take their spot in Laurie's order list of SW cue. The reason why im doing this... is because i want the cue to my specifications. If anyone here is getting close to being called and interested to sell their spot...Pls let me know.

Thank you.

I am about 3 years out.

Will Laurie do that if you call her and say your giving your spot to such and such?

Just curious.. and I've only been on the list for 2 years. :(

She told me they are working on orders from 1999 right now. I got on the list in 2006. So I got another 7 years.  :(

Edited to add:

What if you got two cues to order? Can you give one to another person and them deal straight with her and you still get yours? Probably not but just asking.

Wow. Good luck with this one.

So someone has been waiting 6-8 years for "the call". Now that it's time, they'll sell their spot to you for $500, then they have to wait another 8-10 years for their own SW?

Really, you want a nice custom SW built to your specs, but you don't want to wait?

DON'T WE ALL?? :D

Just an idea what is my SW look like....

 :D :p :) Just waited for 15 years to have one nice one show up...

Why is the wrap like that on many SW cues? Where it has the space between the forearm and the wrap and same at the other end..

I know they must do good wrap work. So why do they make the wrap shorter than it should be?

flyingsnail, you waited 15 years and ordered a cue without points? WOW!

Anyway, anyone on SW's list is automatically entitled to TWO cues. Should be easy enough to find someone selling a spot for one of the cues without having to give up their we cue altogether. Most people sell one to help pay for their own. No difference here.

This is from an email from her to me on June 22, 2006
" We are currently working on early 1998 orders. I'll contact you when we get

to your order & finalize all details then."

I placed an order for two somtime in 1999. They have got to be getting close to me. I would think.

Maple ring on SW cues...

BlowFish
(It's not short, it's a maple ring. This cue looks pretty familiar to me. )
You are correct sir.:D

Rg ,
I did not wait for 15 years for my order:D , I bought this cue from thedimonds. Rarely see any plane jane like this one. And SW dont take any plane jane order anymore that's what I heard. I am just glad I got one for my self:D .

I dont think Laurie will do that..But the guy that is selling the spot can give the specs of the cue that the other guy wanted and just add $500 to whatever the cue is going to cost him. Simple ;)
