I'm looking for a TRUE sneaky pete cue. wood to wood joint, color matched wood in shaft and forearm, fullsplice with a brown colored wood, no butt ring, pro-taper 13mm or so, 18-19oz, good balance, and a simple finish. Should play really well, have nice tight grain on the shaft, and be a no compromise everyday playing cue.

Not trying to sneak up on anyone really, I just want a really great PLAYING cue, that I can bring anywhere. The kind that I can rubber band without a case and not worry much about - BUT plays lights out. I don't really see these for sale here! I missed the old scruggs that came up a bit back...

$100-300, used is fine - whatcha got?

Wow you sound like me a few years back. I always wanted a cue that i could be confident shooting with but didn't look like that guy at the bar.

The old Dufferins were great wood/wood Sneaky Pete's I don't know hard it is to find them though. HERE is a link to one. I also know the McDermott here in WI has them for sale too.

Good luck

Heck, Schmelke http://www.schmelkecue.com/index.php?cPath=2_62&osCsid=uekll856daa264aqc6n5mca337 probably has exactly what you want. However, to be perfectly certain, have them make you one. They've made three for me so far, and they all play lights out. The last one was the best of the three. Very easy to work with, and satisfaction is guaranteed.
