Does anyone have a V21 BobCad they want to sell? or if it is complete with key and training disk i have a new V23 with all the same if interested in a trade.

Why would you want to go back to v21? Just wondering.

I have V21 in the junk drawer of my tool box. I also have v23, but since I switched to MasterCAM I really don't have a need for anything else. PM me an offer for V21 if your interested. It has all the training disks and manuals.

Pretty sure i have a copy of v21 that was given to me....if it is u can have it, as it was given to me. Wont be able to check till friday but ill let u know

I have a copy of v21 I just got and am trying to get the license trasnferred from the previous owner. I would rather have v23 as that is what I've worked with. If you don't find what you are looking for, let me know and we can probably work a trade deal out or something.

I have BobCAD and all the tutorials etc, but I don't want to sell it even though I NEVER use it. I've found a much more user friendly and powerful program I use. Here's a post from a CNC forum that gives some info on it.
Dick Neighbors and I have been using this program for years! I highly recommend it. The Tech support alone makes it worth it's weigh in gold! Tell him Sherm sent you. I don't make anything from this but I would just like him to know I appreciate the help he's given me over the years!

The CNC Utilities is a collection of programs designed to convert, display, generate, and edit G-code programs. It has features such as Engrave, Plot, Project-onto, Arc2Line, Abs2Rel, DXF2CNC, Rotate, Spiral, CncComm, and many more in a nice user friendly environment. The package sells for $249.

FastPath is a full graphics interface CAM system with precision drawing of lines, arcs, points, B-spline and Bezier curves, rectangles, ellipses, text, DXF import/export, Scaling, Rotating, etc. It sells for $799.

The two packages work very well together or can be used independently of each other.

For members of CNCzone that are hobbyists, I will offer a substantial discount. The CNC Utilities can be purchased for $99. FastPath CAM is $299. If you purchase both the total is $350. All prices include free shipping to US addresses. Alaska and Hawaii may cost a small amount.

One more note, if you purchase FastPath but need one of the utilities such as CncComm I will include it for free.

I just dug out the software, and it is v22 that I have. LMK if your interested. Maybe we could trade the software for a TAR 20 PPV ticket. ;)

John F., We should get together sometime and talk shop. I have extra keys for v23, and I'm in DFW. I'll shoot you a PM with my info.

Well guys, for the last week i have been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out, come to find out their is quite a few broken lines in the drawing i am trying to get the G code from, so maybe it's not all my fault, glad i found that out while i still have a little hair left..hahaha!

Boy I'll tell you I am out of ideas, What are you using Bill?

Jimbob, I am confused. Why would you want an older ver. of Bobcad? Do you have ver. 23? This is the easier ver. to use. If you need to learn one or the other then choose 23. If you can't figure out how to use it by the training cds for 23 then the 21 will not help as they are almost the same. No offense but I am not sure what you are after.

Jim.

I use BobCad v 23 and would be glad to help you if I can. PM me and we'll schedule a phone call.

First of all i would like to thank everyone for their help, I purchased a book 7 Easy Steps to BobCAD/CAM v19-v21, and i want to thank Greg Brown for this book and the help he gave me. The information in this book led me to figure out the problems i was having and got me on the right track with the G code and how to apply it to the part, and it was lack of experience on my part, and with no literature to guide me through the program it is a little hard to learn with no help. I had a pocket with no part, and managed to make the part for it and it only took me 5 tries to get the offset and clean up pass right hahaha. but they fit perfect. And Mr. H, i will PM you. Thanks

I know how to use 21-24 and there is no way I would even think of going back to 21. Things in 23 take a fraction of the time to do.

What are you stuck on? I can probably help you.

For everyone who has tried to help me, i think my problems are solved, and i appreciate all the help that has been given. I am going to use V20 and will be working on learning how to run V23 which i have, every one says it is better. But i have overcome the problems I have been having with V20, so I'm confident in what i am doing for now until i get familiar with V23.

And Bill, it is a Unique Cuemonster, and it does a great job.

Thanks all
