I have a customer looking for a spare shaft for a Viking cue with their half thread joint. Does anyone have one layin around? I have bought a Viking in several years.(VM Series) Let me know if you have one.
I thought that was what it was, but a standard 5/16-18 thread shaft will not fit. The diameter is too small. Can a standard shaft be bored out slightly to fit? Thanks for the reply.
I was hoping to find one for about $75 shipped. I don't remember what type of rings are on his cue but I think they were fancy ones. Anyway, I just want to get him a shaft. He wants to try out some different tips. That will keep me busy and I'll sell lots of tips until he finds what he really likes. Thanks.

Err, you are correct, I meant to mention that actually. The threads of their pin are 5/16x18, but the tip of their pins are a little weird. You could bore out a normal shaft to fit, risky and probably not worth it.
You can buy a brand new viking shaft, fit to your cue for about $88 off their website. Find a Viking dealer and purchase it direct from them, usually around 20% off that price.
