Up again need funds so it going practically for nothing. Package deal. Modified Predator 314 Uni-Loc. The shaft was brand new and the ferrule and about .5" of shaft split. So i cut it below split and installed standard linen base ferrule and tip. so instead of 29" its hair over 28. It hits fantastic and looks fantastic with no blueing and straight. Did not touch shaft so it is full 12.75. Cue is Dufferin flame series modified with 3/8x10 pin and added a Corian buttcap custom ringwork and old school style bumper no finish on butt. cue has few chip and dings but overall good condition(see pic). The wood is very dense and beautiful. Butt weights 16.1 and the shaft i made weights in a hefty 5.0 oz. I made it 30.25" with constant taper and Pvc insert. Total weight 21.1 oz. Cue hits solid and stiff. 120.00 for both shipped USPS Priority Conus. PM me if interested Thanks JL Rowe

Just curious, but the shaft looks like a trad maple shaft, without the lamination lines. Any idea why?

Also, how is it in terms of deflection?

The lamination lines are not very visible on a new Predator shaft. The more blueing the predators get the more noticeable. This cue was brand new and after just couple breaks the end split. Predator stated it had to be a defect and just sent us another shaft for replacement. It stayed in our shop forever in the corner. So instead of disposing of it i figured that I would just repair it. I would keep it but my personal cues are 3/8x10's and 5/16x18.

As far as deflection i cant tell any difference but im sure there are some because of the added weight to the front from the thicker, longer ferrule. It still has quite a bit of the hollow core left.

As everyone should know, the repair does void original warranty! but Im practically giving it away with the purchase of the cue.
