It has dull, not glossy finish, it has mp1597 handwritten on right bottom of poster. In protective heavy plastic cover. Near mint cond. I need to get it verified as original. I want to sell, but need to know what it may be worth for trade or sell. Any ideas will help me to sell it. I have a cheap copy for my wall and dont need another collectible. Deacon

I think this to be original but if anyone can tell me how to verify, I will happily do so or get it checked out by someone who can.

Deacon, I used to specialize in old paper items in my Ebay store many years ago, and it is often difficult to determine original prints from second runs and copies. I would suggest checking out one of the online appraisal sites. You can submit a photo and a few dollars, and an art expert will tell you a good deal about your piece and its value. Just google art appraisal, and you will find several sites to choose from. Otherwise, check the schedule for the Antiques Roadshow and drive out for a personal inspection. I wouldn't trust a general antiques dealer, as posters are a specialized area of collecting and billiards is an even more specialized area. The best place to sell will be an online art auction. Ebay it only if you know what it is worth.
