thanks trina. maybe i am crazy, but i just don't seem to be as materialistic these days as i once was. things that have happened to me over the last couple of years have given me a different perspective on life. i just dont feel like holding onto uneeded luxuries very much these days. dont get me wrong, i'm not gonna give my stuff away for a song either ;) though, but if the right offer comes along and it makes sense, i would rather see my cues in the hands of someone who is going to use them and get some real pleasure out of them instead of them just sitting in a case in my closet. the 6 pointer was my very first custom cue i ever owned too. i came up with the design with tim personally via phone and email discussions so it was really special to me at the time, but not so much anymore.

Yes very similar cues. yours was made a couple of years after mine. the design was 100% mine. tim said he wouldn't make another just like it, but he sure came close. this one looks to be a straight grain maple front whereas mine is birdseye, the inlays in the points are slightly different and the veneers are the same colors but very different shade though.

Wow! Hope this isn't considered hijacking, but when I saw the pics I thought it was a cue that one of my buddies owns. Here are pics of it (it was mine a few years ago). Eerily similar, likely from the same batch, but interesting that Tim would have marked them differently. Awesome cue, by the way.

That steel joint makes me nostalgic! What a beautiful cue  I prefer a wood joint, otherwise i'd be all over this.
