Nice cue. Used to have two Scruggs like the one with the Hoppe ring. Mine were both in mint condition and never used. Wish I would have kept them. They are worth something now that Tim no longer makes cues. Good Luck with your sale

I just got a brand new 2011 andy gilbert cue that sounds like it is exactly what u are looking for. It is a 4-point 4-veneer cue, the cue has the stainless steel (5/16-14) joint with ivory inlays all in the cue in different places. The but of the cue is made of a piece of sun-dried cocobola wood which in my opinion brings out the lines of character in the wood. Very sharp looking. It has the white buttcap. And the forearm is birdseye maple with the points matching very evenly in the birdseye forearm, it has orange, turquoise, ivory, and ebony veneers surrounding the cocobola points. This cue has two shafts with beauty rings at the joint(black checkered squares outlining the ivory white insides of the squares) the cue also has these same rings at all 3 positions in the butt as well. When I was ordering this batch of cues from andy I wanted a leather wrap b/c im just a leather wrap kinda guy. But he informed me that he had recently got his hands on a spool of irish linen wrap from szamboti. This is the same exact wrap that was used on mostly all of ur old balabuska and szamboti cues. It is the white linen with light green specs. Which actually im glad I listened to andy b/c it complements the cue very well with the turquoise veneers it almost matches. And andy said he had only gotten his hands on that one spool of wrap. So it was gonna be a rare classic style cue that he had built... it is brand new with 2 shafts both cut at 13mm or maybe a bit more b/c that's how I request them b/c no 2 pool players taste in taper size are alike. So getting them made like this u can have them taken down to your own preferences. If this sounds like something your looking for let me know and ill send pics. I also have many other cues as well.Bill Schicks, Espiritus one of which is an 8pt cue that has alot of ivory and 4- veneers. Woodworth cues I have several. Wheelers. Paul mottey(but I don't think I wanna get rid of yet). and many others.
but if u have been keeping up with cues in the past few years andy gilbert is becoming one of the most sought after cues on the market. And believe me this 2011 gilbert is a beauty. And it sounds like what u are looking for. Ok just let me know,

still annoyed with my friend whom borrowed mine. lied about where he would be using it. then subsequently got drunk, left at and stolen from the ...BAR!!

needless to say, friend no more...
