WTT: Want to trade Hill sneaky for leather case

I have an outstanding Darrin Hill rosewood sneaky that has been test hit only. It's a beautiful piece of rosewood with a contrasting band of Pau Ferro or something similar on the butt. The cue weighs 19.2 IIRC and is 58" with a 12.75mm shaft which weighs almost 4 oz. The cue has Darrin's flat nosed brass pin which is a 3/8X10 or maybe a 3/8X11 I believe. There is a plain black phenolic collar at the joint. LBM ferrule. If ANYONE is not delighted with this cue as far as asthetics or hit and playability is concerned I will immediately take it back. I probably should keep it but I have a Paul Dayton sneaky which I am very used to and cannot live without. I paid $350 for this cue and it is worth every penny. It barely shows any sign of use and I in fact only hit balls with it twice. Of course it is straight and in perfect condition. In the pic below it is the second from the right. I would rate it at 98% only because it has been chalked. Any top player would be very happy with this cue. Darrin's cues hit a ton !

I need a good leather case for an incoming Jerry -R- cue. It needs to be a very sweet case for me to trade even. I would consider a Justis, a Whitten, or a Murnak. Used is fine if it is in very good condition. I need a 2X4 with room for a jump butt too. Older tube styles are fine if they haven't been beaten up. Heavy doesn't bother me.

Last but not least, I always sell on a satisfaction guaranteed basis. Trades should work the same way. I don't want there to be any surprises other than pleasant ones for anyone. I would like that assurance in return. I have never traded anything on this forum, but I need a good case for a deluxe cue. All my premium cases were stolen along with 12 cues before Christmas. Someone come with an offer ! Thanks...Tom

Do you have any pics of the entire cue?

No, this is the only pic I have. If you have something to trade I will photograph it, but there are no surprises. Black phenolic ring at the joint, normal looking shaft with a melamine ferrule. The best part of the shaft is the part you can't see, the performance, and I'm offering it on a satisfaction guaranteed basis. Do you have a leather case to trade ?

No worries buying with Tom . A-Z would be a better place if everyone used his policy when buying and selling.

Thanks Matt. It's only that if the buyer isn't happy then I don't want to stick him with anything. As long as it comes back in the same condition I'm delighted to return his money. No problem. In this case a trade should be the same IMHO...Tom

I have one that I wasn't planning to trade, but the butt of this cue looks great. I'll PM you.

I would be interested in trading a case for that Hill Sneaky. Darrin lives in my area and have always liked his cues.
Take a look at my website and let me know if there's a case that catches your eye. I have some of the cases in stock but if I don't have it in stock I would be glad to make the one you like for an even value trade.
My website is www.castilloleathergoods.com and this is the link to my most popular design http://www.castilloleathergoods.com/pics/products/hard_cases/2x4_native_american.jpg

Thanks,
Gil
