WTT: Whiskey for a cue case - looking to trade at the Windy City Cue Show

New member here from Chi-town and my first post:) I know what a first post, is there someplace I should introduce myself?

So, I just received after a 10 year wait my first southwest cue and I am looking for a GTF or one of the new It's George 1x2 cue case for it. For trade I am offering a few whiskey bottles. I am planning on going to the Windy City Cue show this weekend and would complete the trade there (no shipping on this). Hopefully, I am not breaking any rules here with this post.

The bottles I have for trade are as follows, all in all worth about $250 or so though the ORVWs are kinda hard to find:

2 bottles of Old Rip Van Winkle 10yr 90 proof
2 bottles of Old Rip Van Winkle 10yr 107 proof
1 bottle of 12yr WLW
1 bottle of Glennfiddich 18yr Scotch

is that really illegal? I would imagine given proper ID and as a collector it should be okay? But i could be wrong. I didnt make an offer because
1. I dont drink
2. Im underage.

But is it illegal? I know if he does it in person it would be illegal to an underage person. So I would same rule would apply? Again I could be wrong.
 
I am looking to do a face to face trade at the Windy City cue show this weekend so to keep it on the up and up, I will be carding :grin:
 
C'mon, I know that after a long day at the show people will be thirsty :grin:

I have had some interest but I am not looking to ship these bottles. Even if you don't have a case to trade and you are interested in the whiskey, we could find a case at the show that you could buy for the trade.:wink:

I am not looking for anything too fancy. I just need a high quality 1x2 case that's why I mentioned GTF or the new It's George that will debut at the show. I am willing to consider other as well. If your in the Chicago area and are not going to the show but are interested in a trade, let me know as well!
 
Sent you a PM,check out my cases,I have one original It's George with padded shoulder strap and key,new,Centennial or Mac tube case,I will be in Chicago Friday through Sunday.:wink:
