WWYD 9 Ball Mar 31

This is what I attempted. It didn't work out. The 2 fell but not the 1. I'll set it up one day and try the suggestions.

I'd also like to try the 1 straight back bank. That looks laying perfectly in this screenshot, and I can draw the cb back a bit, leaving a good angle to go 2 rails off of the 2 ball to the 4-7 combo.
It is because 1-ball is pretty close to 2 and you have to hit it quite hard to get position. 1-ball does not have time to get full roll before hitting 2 and it is very hard to get 1-ball drop. If 1-ball was further away then it would have good chance to drop.

soft combo then two or three rail position to about where the chalk is, lock up safety behind the 8.
This is the right shot. Playing the ghost makes us sometimes think too agressive.

Thanks all for the comments.

A few clarifications:
-The match was a streamed gambling match, not ghost.
-I'm as tall as a tree, and reaching the CB was no problem.

After I shot the combo hard, the 1 ended up around the Brunswick on the end rail. I then banked the 1 into the 7 and made it. I ran out of shots the next shot or shortly thereafter.

I did win the set. I forgot if I won this particular game, however.

I like all of the suggestions. I did not see the safe on the 4 with the CB to the left side of it (as viewing the picture), but I like that a lot now, and the route to get there is easy after playing the combo very soft. The 4-7 combo looked so easy that I was laser focused on getting the runout.
