WWYD: Lame Pic

This literally came up a few minutes ago.

And I had to move quickly to get the pic.

Pic is post-shot and cb was near the foot spot, between 10/3.

Shot that must be played is on the one, top L area in pic (above cb, which incoming player has place for upcoming shot...coz the WWYD inspiration missed the WWYD).

How do you hit the 1?

Assuming no clear shot at the 1, and depending on exact angle:

I’d either kick to stick betwixt the five and six, like coming kinda 2 rails and pushing the one out and away and using the 5 as a blocker.

Or still go between 5&6 but try to clip the outside of the 1 thin and send the CB up and possibly behind the 9 while the one drifts onto the 6 area.

It’s hard to tell though with that crazy stretched pic lol. I thought I was looking at a table from side to side at first not lengthwise.

I told you it was lame!

Player went long rail to end rail and tried to hit the one from the top of the pic, but the 2-railer was on...to either make the 1or possibly get blocker with 5 or 6.
 
So this mystery player aimed his cue ball off screen to the right? And tried to come around 2/3 rails?

Was he trying to get behind the one do you think, or come across the face in some kind of crazed kick bank attempt?

Where is everyone else? A WWYD is important business. Maybe they couldn’t handle that pic 🤔

Yes, around the table 3 rails counterclockwise. I don't believe anything other than contact was the goal. As I recall, the shot was hit near warp speed.

The pic is pretty freaky, the long rail is so tiny and when you got like like gzar who ate a half sheet...well, sheet. Some freakiness is expected and some is not. This is obviously in the not zone.
 
And you know what?

I believe that foul left the shooter on two, incoming player tried to both get him on three and break up a cluster.

I thought that shot was a dumb shot too.

I do need to find that video and do some screen grabs.
 
I'm probably swerving, depending on how it looks from where the CB starts.
TBH I don't like that answer, because you're probably in a bad position even if you manage to pocket the 1. Interested in any better ideas.
