That is REDICULOUS.

Come on, it's just a sponge with two directions of material, one negatively charged (the felt positively charged) with a handle that lets it fit under the bumpers etc.

$90 is just way too much.

It works like a "Swifter quicker picker upper" type deal, chalk sticks to it. However a swifter is like $20 and its for FLOORS, and is huge, the simmonis tool is tiny and costs 4x as much.

Rediculous? yes

I could understand $40 which would still be way more then its worth, but I could understand since its a speciality item and its unique they could get $40 for it.. but $90 is just way too much.

are you saying that a swifter works just as good?

I use a slightly damp microfiber cloth to clean the chalk from my table, no vacuuming, no brushing. You can get a 6 pack of them for about $4 at Target. I love all the cool pool gadgets and tools, but this thing just makes me want to laugh.

Compared to buying a couple of high quality brushes for the cloth and under the rails it is not much more expensive.

It does a much better job because it removes the chalk, eliminating vacuum cleaning the table.

Seems to be well constructed and should last indefinitely, something that cannot be said for cans of cleaners.
