I'm upgrading my humble cnc taperer.
Will be using this for the X.
40" travel, zero backlash 20MM ball screw.

With the cover to keep dust away.
This sukker costs over 2K if bought from THK.
I got a great deal on it.
It's unused.

If you can't make a clean & repeatable cut with that, then you are in the wrong business. Nice rig :)

Hey, I have an excuse.
It has .0002" runout.
 
Nice rig Joey. I had tried several times to get one of those from e-bay and was always out bid. You will have to figure out pulses converted from metric to inch for mach 3. Since you will be using for taper your calculations can be off a few thousanths. If you need help figuring out pulse steps let us know.

I'm set on metric now. I just G20 on the codes when I cut.

818.8751 microsteps per millimeter of linear
travel.
I will have to find time to mount this beast.
