Point being? The guy who revived the thread obviously did a search....relating to his current need.
I figured it was a good starting point to begin chasing down your post count and what better way to start than ribbing someone.

That's BS. Those shafts are designed for PLAYING not breaking. Ask a good cue mechanic. The front end is not designed for the repeated blows of breaking. The Z is stiffer than regular 314 but its still not made for breaking regardless of what that site is telling you.Check out this link it say its for hard breaks: https://monsterbreakbilliard.com/pr...MIqJDvm8io5AIVh7zACh3V7AkUEAQYAiABEgIM4fD_BwE
I have asked around and people have stated the same. I feel the cost is worth it for me (im only paying about 30 for next few month). But nice tips on a cheaper break cue. Good to know. I have a rage break cue that breaks surprisingly well (Same price as action cue) I will try putting a WD tip on it at some point!
Thank you!!

Predator makes a nice break cue(BK series) but it uses a shaft specifically made to handle breaking, that's it.You are very right I tried it and it broke pretty badly. I heard Bustamante used it for breaking in the past was the thing. I guess the source of the info did not know. Although it did bust them open better than my falcon break cue which in my opinion is better suited for a slow break and trying to pocket the head ball in the side. I'm trying to really bust the balls open and get them moving. My rage heavy hitter breaks them open better than both. It cost me a lot less too.
Thank you!!

I had a real Gen 1 Xbreaker (and a Gen 2 and X Jumper) That looks to be legit to me. I had the same one but in maple. Be careful twisting that butt cap, the top can tear off from the bottom. Can anyone tell me if this is a real or knock off X-Breaker; I found it in storage amongst many of my old cues that i've collected over three decades. I honestly can't recall where I bought it, presumably at a Super Billiard Expo 15+ years ago. The silver rings are lifting which according to this thread indicates its a 1st generation X-Breaker?
Any information would be appreacted, thanks in advance.
